Seaworthy began in 2021 with a simple goal: to make beautiful, hand-crafted objects for lovers of distilled spirits and timeless design. Founder Dominick Montalbano, a designer, sailor and cocktail lover, called the first collections Spirit Sets. Since then he has built a partner network of some of the finest artisans in the Pacific Northwest, including glass-blowers, ceramic artists, woodworkers and metalworkers. With design skill and these partnerships, Seaworthy can create almost anything right here in the USA.

In 2023, Dominick became frustrated with the lack of premium-quality bar tools for the home cocktail maker. So, he started designing and prototyping products he would like to have for himself. Three years and thousands of hours of development later, Seaworthy is proud to offer a complete line of what we feel is the most exceptional bar tools available.

Today, Seaworthy is a small crew of buoyant craftsmen who turn the highest quality materials into very special products. Almost everything we make is fabricated right in our workshop in Ballard - the historic maritime district of Seattle. We combine time-honored, traditional fabrication techniques with the most modern technologies to achieve results that we’re extremely proud of.

We alternate between, limited runs of Tool Collections and Spirit Sets. These are launched several times a year on a first-come, first-served basis to people on our mailing list.
