A bar owner in Seattle holds a special place in his heart for the amazing spirit called Mezcal. He loves to share his passion and knowledge of this widely misunderstood spirit. So we created a spinning server to enhance the customer experience of mezcal sampling.
Mezcal is traditionally served with orange slices that you dip in grasshopper or agave worm salt.
A heavily figured slab of African Black Limba heartwood was selected to complement the simple design of the server. It was sealed with a durable, food-grade satin finish.
Each glass has a number engraved next to it on the server; the bartender lists each corresponding mezcal on customized note sheet. A pencil is provided for tasting notes that can be saved for later.

It’s common in Mexican mezcalarias to use votive candle holders as glasses. This seems appropriate considering the almost religious regard with which many hold mezcal.

A high quality, silent bearing makes spinning the server feel just right.
