What makes our Bar Stirrer so special? In another example of how we consider less to usually be more, we opted for a paddle instead of a spoon on one end or our stirrer and a beautiful wood top on the other. Our stirrer is meant to do one thing… stir. Oh, and look beautiful. No poor measuring, ice cracking, olive pitchforking, muddling, etc.
Stainless Steel: Our Bar Stirrer is made from 304 Stainless Steel. The edges are hand-ground so that it feels great in your hand and in the Monte Carlo Collection the steel is hand-polished to a mirror finish. The paddle has a design we call the Northstar cut into it.
Katalox Top: The Stirrer tops in the Monte Carlo Collection are hand-turned from Katalox (also known as Mexican Royal Ebony) one of the hardest woods on the planet and then treated with an oil/wax finish. A flat surface is machined into the wooden top to keep the stirrer from rolling over when lying on a countertop. Keep in mind that wood varies in grain and color from piece to piece so your product may look slightly different from the photo.
Righty or Lefty: Surprisingly, the direction of the twist matters a lot when stirring a cocktail in a mixing glass in your right or left hand. So select the one you want.
Shipping Crate: Your Bar Stirrer comes in a custom-fitted, baltic birch gift box that we make in our shop. The sliding lid is sealed shut with a lovely Monte Carlo Collection postage stamp.
