The beautiful, hand-thrown porcelain pieces in this set are made in Seattle. The ochoko cups have an elegant, thin rim to enhance the subtle flavors and aromas of the sake. Each tokkuri decanter holds 12 oz so two will hold a full bottle of sake. A bowl-shaped candle holder completes the set. The textured finish on the outside of each vessel is contrasted by the delicate crazing of the glaze finish on the inside. These pieces sit in a series of interconnected pools in the Cherrywood base so that the porcelain can be re-arranged to create different compositions.
